Spring time gardening

Posted on April 13, 2026April 14, 2026 by Liliane

Hello friends,

Yes the first day of gardening! It was a very nice sunny day last Saturday. My husband and I knew we have a lot of work to do for the next few months. You see we just purchased this house in January. Yes I know! what a silly time to move, but I guess we summed up the courage and the help to do it even when it was snowing 🙂 . So, our plan was to clean all the dead branches in the back and trip up some of the trees (as you can see with the pictures below).

With the help of my parents we were able to do just that!  All is needed now is for me to find the courage to do a butch of branch bundles for pickup, but grrrr they all have thorns and the gloves didn't really helped. Oh well will need to do it 🙁 . In the next month, we will also fix the deck, bring our summer furniture out and build a nice firepit in the middle of the backyard for family and friends to also enjoy on BBQ nights!

Has I do more progress in the garden, I will share more pics so please don't be shy and provide me with your feedbacks and Ideas. Stay tune!

It was a great day to start doing some work in the back, just a great day.
