Orchids

Posted on May 21, 2026 by Liliane

Hello flower lovers!

In the last 4 years I have been very successful with my Orchid. This was from the beginning that one plant which intimated me. Every years, it has bloomed twice.

My husband and I moved in January during the middle of winter. I thought for sure that this time I was going to kill it. However, it survived! Look at her now 12 buds!

The trick is to put the plant by the window for light, but not directly to the sun. Also, you know the trick about putting ice cube? Well don’t this will only burn it. So, only give your Orchid no more then 1/4 cup of water per week.  Also, add Orchid food when transplanting it.

Good luck!
